Women's Tennis Ends Season In The Playoffs

The Eagles lost to Hardin-Simmons 5-0 in the playoffs.

Richardson, Texas-The Hardin-Simmons University women's tennis team dashed the hopes of the Eagles' playoff appearance with a 5-0 win Thursday in the American Southwest Conference Tournament quarterfinals.

Hardin-Simmons (8-6) started the match with three straight 8-1 wins in doubles. From there, the Cowgirls just needed two singles wins. Hardin-Simmons got those wins at No. 2 and No. 6 to end the match. 

The Eagles end the season with a 4-12 overall record.
