Ryan, Terrell Garner ITA Scholar-Athlete Honors 

University of the Ozarks women's tennis student-athletes Anna Claire Ryan and Lea Terrell received academic recognition from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), it was announced by college tennis' governing body July 14.

Clarksville, Ark.- University of the Ozarks women's tennis student-athletes Anna Ryan and Lea Terrell received academic recognition from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), it was announced by college tennis' governing body July 14.
     
The duo earned the ITA Scholar-Athlete award for their excellence in academics. Both Ryan and Terrell have received the award twice during their time at Ozarks. Ryan is a junior business administration major from Woodville, Miss., and Terrell is a sophomore accounting major from Murfreesboro.  
     
In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status, a player must be a letterwinner, maintain a GPA of at least 3.50 (on a 4.00 scale) and have been enrolled at their present school at least two semesters.
