Clarksville, Ark.-The women's cross country team had two runners finish in the top-40 of the 5K University of the Ozarks Invitational Saturday morning.

Hannah Smith paced Ozarks with a 21:11 for 24th place. Caitlyn Bell followed with a time of 21:37 for 38th place. Madison Sherrer (22:29) was 51st, Stephanie Alderson (23:05) was 59th, Jacquelyn Vaden (24:05) was 64th and Denise Garcia (26:22) was 74th.

The Eagles would finish 8th overall. Harding University won the race.

Ozarks will host the Arkansas D-III Championships October 19 before heading the American Southwest Conference Championships October 29.
