Clarksville, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks Sports Hall of Fame Committee is seeking nominations for the Class of 2015.

Formal nominations for the 2015 class are now being accepted by the committee. An online form is available on the Hall of Fame page at www.uofoathletics.com. Those wishing to nominate may also contact Sports Information Director Josh Peppas by email (jpeppas@ozarks.edu) or traditional mail (415 College Avenue, Clarksville, AR 72830).

The deadline for submissions is Oct. 1, 2014.

The Hall of Fame Committee will consider all nominees in a comprehensive manner, taking into account records and achievement as a player, coach or team, as well as scholarship and citizenship.

Players are eligible for induction ten years after the completion of their collegiate participation. Coaches and teams become eligible after ten years.

Established in 1990, the University of the Ozarks Sports Hall of Fame has welcomed 45 individuals and one team (1983-1984 men’s basketball team). The annual Hall of Fame Luncheon takes place on a Saturday in January or February that coincides with home basketball.
