JACKSON, Miss. – The Millsaps men's basketball team is ready to host its annual Millsaps College Tournament with an exciting field of four teams playing inside the Hangar Dome, Saturday and Sunday.
Accompanying the Majors will be Centenary College, Piedmont University and the University of the Ozarks. On Saturday, Centenary will face Piedmont at 2 p.m. CT followed by Millsaps and Ozarks at 4 p.m. The tournament will conclude on Sunday with a consolation matchup at 1 p.m. and championship set for a 3 p.m. tip.

Doug Watson leads the team scoring 14 points per game on 9-of-17 shooting. Taking charge of three-point range is classmate
Rodreekas Bush (11 ppg), who has made six treys thus far. Junior
Aaron Ursin has made a huge contribution using his strength and vertical to post up and attack his opponents in the paint, while leading the team with 6.5 rebounds per game and adding eight points per contest.

Entering the weekend with a 1-2 record, senior
Seth Thomas paces the Gents at 16.3 points per game with a 65.6 shooting percentage. He was named All-SCAC Third Team following the 2021-22 season and received one first-place vote for SCAC Defensive Player of the Year. Junior
Chrys Jackson should also make strong contributions averaging 9.7 ppg.

Ozarks (3-0) looks to continue its impressive start to the season having earned wins over Austin College and SAA foes Hendrix and Rhodes. Sophomore

Kamren Roelke (nine ppg) have provided a strong scoring spark. Roelke reached double figures in scoring on 20 occasions last season.

Holding a 2-2 mark heading into the tournament, the Lions have looked to senior
Ryan Jolly (12.3 ppg) and junior
Noah Reardon (10.8 ppg) for the majority of their offense. Jolly has also posted a team-high 18 assists, while seniors

Andrew Stimpson have both averaged 5.3 boards per contest.
