Clarksville, Ark.-Hardin-Simmons University remained undefeated on the season after earning a 96-82 win over the U of O men's basketball team Saturday in American Southwest Conference action.

All five Hardin-Simmons starters scored in double figures, with All-America candidate Derrick Jefferson scoring a game-high 29 points. Ozarks (3-3, 1-2 ASC) trailed only 48-46 at halftime and had the lead a few times during the first twenty minutes of action. Ted Beard IV had 11 points and Ben Grice had ten points in the first half to lead Ozarks. But Jefferson countered with 21 first half points. Hardin-Simmons (6-0, 3-0 ASC) slowly pulled away in the second half and finished out the final six minutes with a 20-13 run.

Beard IV, Kelby Robinson and Dylan Gray all had double-doubles for Ozarks. Beard IV finished with 19 points and ten rebounds. Robinson had 10 points and ten rebounds, while Gray recorded 18 points and 11 rebounds.

Ozarks will travel to Marshall, Texas, to face East Texas Baptist University December 11.
