Eagles Suffer Road Loss In Marshall

Marshall, Texas-East Texas Baptist University raced out to a 36-26 halftime advantage and then kept the Eagles from taking the lead in the second half in a 82-64 American Southwest Conference victory Thursday night.
    
Ozarks (3-4, 1-3 ASC) made just eight field goals in the first half, but did connect on 8-of-10 from the free throw line. East Texas Baptist (5-0, 2-0 ASC) helped its cause by holding a 28-19 rebound advantage in the first half. Kelby Robinson carried Ozarks in the first half with 12 points, behind a 7-of-7 performance from the free throw line.
    
Ozarks climbed within 44-37 on Josh Berard's layup at the 16:02 mark of the second half, but five minutes later, the Tigers held a 61-39 lead.
    
Ted Beard IV paced Ozarks with 23 points. Robinson finished with 19 points.

Ozarks will host Texas-Tyler December 13.
