Eagles Let First Half Lead Slip Away

Austin, Texas-The Eagles let a halftime lead slip away as Concordia University Texas stormed back in the second half to secure a 98-86 win in American Southwest Conference action Thursday night.
    
Ozarks (8-15, 4-14 ASC) held a 53-45 lead at intermission thanks to a 10-3 burst in the final three minutes of the half. Dylan Gray, who scored 13 first half points, drilled a three-pointer during the run to put Ozarks in a good position going into halftime. The two teams then battled for momentum in the first ten minutes of the second half. Concordia University Texas (13-8, 9-7 ASC) eventually took a narrow 69-66 lead with 10:25 remaining in the game. The Tornadoes then closed out the final eight minutes of the game on a 22-16 run. Concordia outscored Ozarks' bench 54-24 in the game. 
    
Gray scored 27 points on 9-of-14 shooting from the floor. Gray also pulled down 13 rebounds.  

Ozarks will travel to Belton, Texas, to face Mary Hardin-Baylor February 14.
