Eagles Remain Undefeated With Dominating Win

Clarksville, Ark.-The men's basketball team produced 48 made field goals and 70 first half points in its 120-60 win over Crowley's Ridge College Tuesday night.

Ozarks remains undefeated on the season at 4-0, its best start under head coach David Ferrell, and the program's best since the 2001-2002 season. Fueled by 16 Eagles in the scoring column, the overmatched Pioneers (2-5) held a lead in the opening minutes of the game, but it was all Ozarks after that. Ozarks led 70-32 at halftime behind four starters who reached double figures. Kelby Robinson had 23 at the half. Ozarks hit 64 percent of its shots in the first half. In the second half, Chris Green, Ricky Scott and Adam Geller all were perfect from the field. The inside combination of Pete Barber and Geller scored a team-best eight points in the second half.

Robinson finished with a team-high 23 points, while Dylan Gray had 14, and Josh Berard and Jace Richardson scored 13 and 12 points.

Ozarks will host Texas-Dallas in its first conference game of the season December 5.
