Eagles Top Century Mark, Top Southwestern 114-83

Clarksville, Ark.-Three U of O players posted double-doubles and four starters reached double figures in a dominant 114-83 win over Southwestern Adventist Monday night.

Ozarks (6-5) hit 16 three-pointers in the game, with multiple players hitting two or more, and dished out 31 assists. The Eagles led 58-45 at the half behind a 57 percent shooting percentage from the floor. Four starters for Ozarks scored in double figures in the first half, and all five starters hit at least one three-pointer.

In the second half, Jace Richardson hit back-to-back three-pointers to push Ozarks' lead to 72-52. Ben Grice drilled back-to-back shots from long-range to put Ozarks ahead 80-59 with 12:30 left. Dylan Gray's three-pointer at the 8:32 mark gave Ozarks 100 points.

For the game, Ozarks made 16-of-34 from the three-point line and 43-of-76 from the floor. Southwestern (6-12) hit 13-of-27 from the three-point line.

Josh Berard paced Ozarks with 23 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Richardson followed with 22 points and ten assists. Gray had 19 points and Robinson chipped in with 17 points and 11 rebounds.

Ozarks will host LeTourneau University January 14 and Texas-Tyler January 16 in conference action.
