East Texas Baptist Men Drill 16 Three-Pointers In Win

Marshall, Texas-East Texas Baptist University drilled 16 three-pointers and pulled down 48 rebounds to take a 92-80 win over the Eagles Saturday in American Southwest Conference play.

East Texas Baptist (13-4, 6-2 ASC) led 39-33 at halftime behind 21 points from long-range. The Tigers then opened the second half on 13-4 a run to build a 52-37 advantage. The Tigers benefited from a 48-25 rebound advantage in the game. East Texas Baptist ended the game hitting 16-of-37 (43%) from the three-point line. Josh Berard carried Ozarks (8-8, 2-7 ASC) in the second half with 19 points. Berard finished with 31 points on 11-of-17 shooting from the field.

Ozarks will host Dallas Christian January 25.
