Men's Basketball Hangs On For 88-84 Win

Clarksville, Ark.-Dylan Gray hit a clutch jump shot with 43 seconds remaining in the game to help Ozarks secure a 88-84 win over Belhaven University Thursday night.

Ozarks (11-9) built a 76-61 lead with 6:45 left in the game only to have Belhaven (2-18) pull within two points at the 1:07 mark. Gray then made a bucket to move Ozarks ahead by four points. The two teams traded free throws, and Belhaven would again close it to two points, but with less than five seconds left. Kelby Robinson made a pair of free throws with two seconds to give Ozarks a 88-84 lead.

Gray, Robinson, Josh Berard and Jace Richardson all scored in double figures in the second half. Berard and Richardson combined for 50 points in the game. Berard went 11-of-20 from the field to score 27 points. Richardson went 10-of-13 from the free throw line to score 23 points. Gray ended with 11 points, and Robinson had 18 points.

Ozarks will travel to Austin, Texas, to face Concordia University Texas February 8.
