Eagles Suffer Road Loss Against Texas-Tyler

Tyler, Texas- Texas-Tyler fought off the Eagles late in the second half to secure a 88-76 win Thursday night in American Southwest Conference play.

After trailing 37-27 at the half, Ozarks (12-12, 3-11 ASC) pulled within 41-39 on a Josh Berard bucket. Three-pointers by Josh Ferrell and Dylan Gray continued to keep it close, and Berard poured in 26 second half points. Kelby Robinson converted a three-point play to make it 67-65 with 7:40 remaining in the game, but that would be as close as the Eagles got. Texas-Tyler (13-11, 4-10 ASC) hit 27 free throws to counter Berard's 38 total points in the game. Berard went 15-of-33 from the field, including 5-of-10 from the three-point line. Robinson added 20 points.

Ozarks will end the season against LeTourneau University February 20.
