Clarksville, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks men's and women's clay target team competed in the Arkansas State Collegiate Shotgun Championship at the Delta Resort and Spa in Tillar, Ark., March 13-14.
    
Day one included shooting International Trap and American Trap. Day two was spent in American Skeet and five stand. Ozarks placed third in International Trap.
    
"This was a very respectable finish considering there were ten squads competing from around the state," said head coach Steve Johnson.
    
Grace Brown also competed in an Arkansas Junior Olympic Qualifier match. Brown excelled as she finished first in the Women's J1 Division and fifth overall. According to Johnson, it was one of her personal bests.
    
Ozarks will travel to San Antonio, Texas, for the ACUI National Tournament March 21-28.
