Clay Target Team Places Fourth At Central Midwest Conference Championships

Sparta, Ill.-The University of the Ozarks women's and men's clay target team finished fourth at the Central Midwest Conference Championships held in Sparta, Illinois, October 14-15.

In the high overall standings, Ozarks finished fourth, behind Lindenwood University, Emmanuel College and University of Missouri.

In men's American skeet, Mason Dobbs was the top finisher for Ozarks at twenty-fourth. In American trap, Ozarks had the top two finishers. Charles Priddy won the event followed closely by teammate Jeff Proctor. There were 109 competitors in the event. In men's sporting clays, Proctor was the top finisher for Ozarks placing eighth overall. In men's super sporting clays, Proctor placed fourth overall to be the team's top finisher.
In the men's high overall standings for American events, Proctor ranked ninth out of 101 competitors. In the high overall men's standings for American events and sporting clays, Proctor placed seventh.

In women's American skeet, Grace Brown was the team's top finisher at sixth place. In women's American trap, Brown was the top finisher for Ozarks at sixteenth place. In women's sporting clays, Brown was the top finisher for Ozarks placing sixteenth. In women's super sporting clays, Brown placed seventh.

In the women's high overall standings for American events, Brown was seventh out of 35 competitors. In the high overall women's standings for American events and sporting clays, Brown was eleventh overall.

Ozarks will compete in the Spook Shoot October 29 in Walnut Shade, Missouri.
