Clay Target Team To Be Honored For National Championships

The 2021-2022 Clay Target Team will be honored Saturday, April 23, in an on-campus ceremony for winning the 2021 Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) National Championship in International Skeet and International Trap/Bunker.

Clarksville, Ark.-The 2021-2022 Clay Target Team will be honored Saturday, April 23, in an on-campus ceremony for winning the 2021 Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) National Championship in International Skeet and International Trap/Bunker.

The ceremony will take place at 11:40 a.m., prior the university's softball game that day, at Hurie Softball Field. The athletes will receive customized championship belt buckles. Team members being honored include Kyleigh Hepner, McKenna Little, Corbin Cooper, Riley HooperTinker Kinser, Lane Klohn, Keaton Little, Mason Malin, Wyatt McCaghren, Levi Prestidge, Amos Scott, Moudy Stolz, Jacob Tucker, Clayton Villines, John Wagner, Lane Ward, Coleman Wheeler and Cameron Ziarko. Head women's coach Grace Brown and head men's coach Lance Brown will also be honored.

The Eagles won the national titles in October at the SCTP College Nationals in Ohio, marking the first team championships for the program.
