Lance Brown enters his fourth year as the head men’s clay target coach. Prior to being head coach, he was a volunteer assistant (since 2012). Has had three individuals win ACUI national championships. Four of his teams have won national titles.

At Ozarks

  • Had two athletes named ACUI/SCTP All-Americans (2022-23)
  • Helped four athletes finish among top-10 at ACUI/SCTP Clay Target National Championships 
  • Led team to 2022 SCTP National Championship in International Bunker/Trap 
  • Led team to 2022 National Championship in International Trap/Bunker at the ACUI National Championships
  • Team won two Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) National Championships in spring of 2022 (International Skeet and International Trap/Bunker)
  • Won second straight SCTP National Championship in International Trap/Bunker in 2022 (fall)
  • Guided team to three straight Arkansas Collegiate Shoot titles (2019-2022)
  • Had the HOA individual at the Arkansas Collegiate Shoot (2020-21)
  • Had the national runner-up in American Skeet at ACUI Nationals (2020-21)
  • Guided team to four top-3 finishes during 2019-20 season
  • Led one female to the HOA at the Drury University Shoot (2019-20)
  • One female qualified for the 2019-20 ACUI Nationals for International Bunker
  • Has served as a volunteer assistant for the women's and men's program since 2012
  • Assisted program to its highest finish (third-place) ever at ACUI Nationals (2018-2019)
  • Assisted program to team championships at Oklahoma State Cowboy Shootout, University of Missouri Tundra Shootout and the University of the Ozarks Shootout (2018-2019)
  • Had one female athlete win the national championship in International Trap (2018)
  • Had one female athlete win the national championship in International Bunker Trap (2017)
  • Had one male athlete win the national championship in International Bunker Trap (2018)
  • Helped the program to the Mississippi State Bulldog Open Championship (2018)

  • Head Trap Coach at Booneville High School (Ark.)
  • Led Booneville High School to 2015 Arkansas Youth Shooting Sports Program state championship
  • Assisted the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission in the implementation of shooting sports at the high school level
