Clarksville, Ark.- University of the Ozarks junior forward Thomas Ross was named to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-South Region Team, it was announced Thursday.
Ross, a native of Rockwall, Texas, excelled on the field and in the classroom to receive Second Team honors. Ross led the team with five assists and tied for the team lead in points with seven. His five assists were tied for the most in the league during the regular season. A starter in 16 games, he had three shots against two opponents. The 5-foot-11, 150-pound Ross guided Ozarks to the American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament, where it advanced to the semi-finals. For his efforts, he was named to the All-ASC Second Team.
He owns a 4.00 grade point average as a mathematics major. He is a two-time member of the ASC All-Academic Team.
