THE BASICS
After a scoreless first half, the Eagles scored three second half goals to claim a 3-0 non-conference win over Hendrix College Tuesday. The Eagles took control of the match in the second half, recording nine shots and five corner kicks. The Eagles pressured the Hendrix defense the entire second half and eventually broke through with a goal in the 72nd minute. Drew Mott scored to give the Eagles a 1-0 advantage. Bryce Young followed with a goal just minutes later and Sean Garcia connected on a penalty kick in the 88th minute to round out the scoring. The Eagles totaled 13 shots. It was Logan Valestin's first shutout of the season. He had three saves.
