Eagles Advance To 17th Playoff

The Eagles have qualified for the playoff for the 17th time.

Clarksville, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks men's soccer team has advanced to the American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament for the seventeenth time in program history and the fourth straight season under head coach Aaron Brueckner.

The Eagles (11-5-1, 7-4-0 ASC) will take on Hardin-Simmons University November 5 in Abilene, Texas. The match will begin at 8:00 p.m. Hardin-Simmons edged the Eagles 1-0 on October 10.

Drew Mottand Charleus Emmanuel Ritch lead the team with seven goals. Mott is the team leader in assists (5) and points (19). Logan Valestin has five shutouts in goal. The Eagles were ranked in the USC West Region during the season.

The winner of the ASC Championship Tournament is declared the conference champion and earns automatic qualification to the NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championship.
