    Clarksville, Ark.- Eight University of the Ozarks men's soccer players were honored by the American Southwest Conference (ASC) with All-Conference awards, it was announced by the league office Tuesday, November 8.
  • Eagles Eliminated From Playoffs

    Richardson, Texas – UT Dallas eliminated the Eagles from the American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament with a 5-1 win Tuesday night in the quarterfinals. The Comets used a home field advantage to score early in the match and hold a 1-0 lead. The Comets then scored in the 27th minute to move ahead 2-0. But the Eagles showed some life as Chris Rodriguez found an open Ernesto Frias for a nice goal in the 40th minute. The score remained 2-1 at halftime, but the Comets owned a 12-3 shots advantage and a 4-0 corner kicks advantage. The Comets were able to score in the 51st minute to make it tough for an Eagles comeback. The Comets’ fourth goal came in the 70th minute to make it 4-1. The Comets created 24 shots with seven of those on goal in the match.  
  • Hardin-Simmons Escapes With 1-0 Win

    Clarksville, Ark. – Hardin-Simmons University escaped Clarksville with a 1-0 win over the Eagles on Saturday. The Cowboys scored the game-winner in the 16th minute after posting a strong first half with six shots. The Eagles had an improved second half with three shots and holding a 5-1 corner kicks advantage. Both defenses held strong in the second half with very few clean opportunities to score goals.

    Clarksville, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks men's soccer team has advanced to the American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament for the twenty-first time in program history and the eighth straight season under head coach Aaron Brueckner.
  • Kyle Seymour Leads Eagles To 4-0 Win
    October 26, 2023
    Clarksville, Ark. – Kyle Seymour scored twice in the first half and assisted on another in the second half as the Eagles put on a dominant performance against McMurry University with a 4-0 win on Thursday. The win kept the Eagles undefeated at home this season. The Eagles quickly established an offensive attack early on and Seymour delivered a goal in the eighth minute. As the Eagles continued to created scoring opportunities, Seymour again scored in the 29th minute and the Eagles led 2-0 at halftime. McMurry’s best scoring chance was with less than two minutes in the first half, but goalkeeper Caleb Anderson made a diving save by punching the ball away. McMurry made more of a push in the second half with nine shots, but it was the Eagles that scored two additional goals. Luke Clingerman scored in the 67th minute on an assist from Seymour. Rasto Rimbo added another goal in the 79th minute. The Eagles now have five shutouts on the season, all coming in home matches. 
  • Eagles Take Care Of Business On The Road

    Marshall, Texas – The Eagles took care of business downing East Texas Baptist University 2-0 Saturday night in Texas. After a scoreless first half, the speedy Rasto Rimbo gave the Eagles a 1-0 lead in the 64th minute. Both teams created scoring chances throughout the match, but it was the Eagles who added a goal in the 83rd minute. This time it was Chris Rodriguez. The shots column was nearly identical with the Eagles recording 16 shots in the match while the Tigers had 17. The Eagles had five shots on goal to three for the Tigers. The Tigers did hold a 6-3 corner kicks advantage. Kyle Seymour was credited with five shots in the match. Caleb Anderson got the clean sheet in goal and had three saves.
  • LeTourneau Nets Late Game-Winner To Upend Eagles

    Longview, Texas –LeTourneau University netted the game-winning goal with less than two minutes remaining to pick up a 1-0 win over the Eagles Thursday night in Texas. The Eagles took four shots in the first half and held possession for a majority of the time. In the second half, LeTourneau mounted pressure on the Eagles with eight shots. Eventually, Beau Webber hit one with his left foot that went into the bottom right corner for the game-winner in the 89th minute.
  • Eagles Fall To Concordia On The Road
    October 14, 2023
    Round Rock, Texas – Concordia University Texas scored four goals in the first half en route to a 6-0 win over the Eagles Saturday in Round Rock, Texas. Concordia scored early in the match and then added quick back-to-back goals to hold a 3-0 advantage 16 minutes into the match. The Eagles had trouble recovering as Concordia scored once more before halftime and then would score 25 seconds into the second half to make it 5-0.
  • Crusaders Net Win Over Eagles
    October 12, 2023
    Belton, Texas - Mary Hardin-Baylor scored a flurry of goals in the second half to take control of the match and earn a 4-1 win over the Eagles Thursday in Texas. The Crusaders found the back of the net in the 16th minute to hold a 1-0 halftime lead. From there, the Crusaders scored three goals within a nine-minute span in the second half to put the match out of reach. Bailey Sawyer scored for the Eagles in the 68th minute. The Crusaders owned a 25-9 shots advantage in the match.
  • Comets Overcome Deficit Against Eagles

    Richardson, Texas-The Eagles scored first and held a 1-0 lead going into halftime before Texas-Dallas would storm back to take a 3-1 win. The lead lasted until the 69th minute as the Comets scored the equalizer. As the match went into the final ten minutes, the Comets were awarded a penalty kick and took the lead. The Comets would then score again with less than three minutes remaining. The Comets owned a 18-8 shots advantage in the match.
  • Rasto Rimbo Does It Again, Eagles Win ASC Opener

    Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles opened conference play in thrilling fashion behind a game-winning goal from Rasto Rambo in the 76th minute to edge Howard Payne University 2-1 on Saturday. The win was extra sweet on Senior Day and now the Eagles have won three in row. Ernesto Frias put the Eagles in front 1-0 in the 36th minute. The scored remained 1-0 at the half, but could have been more as the Eagles had eight shots. Howard Payne recorded seven shots in the second half and found the back of the net in the 68th minute. But Rimbo ignited the Senior Day and Homecoming crowd with a nice goal. Goalkeeper Caleb Anderson made a clutch save in the 88th minute to keep the Yellow Jackets from scoring. Anderson played the ball perfectly in the box on a hard hit shot from Emmanuel Nshimiyimana. The Eagles owned a 14-9 shots advantage and a 5-3 corner kicks advantage in the game. Anderson had seven saves.
  • Chris Rodriguez Scores Early Goal For Game-Winner

    Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles needed just one goal to put away Sul Ross State University Thursday afternoon and that came early in the match as the home team won 1-0. Chris Rodriguez netted the game-winning goal in the fourth minute to push the Eagles to their second straight win. The goal came on a beautiful pass from Jorensky Augustin. The Eagles owned the first half overwhelming the Lobos with 11 shots. The Lobos had just two shots in the first half. Luke Clingerman got a quality shot in the 53rd minute that the Sul Ross State goalkeeper had to make a jumping save to clear out. Goalkeepers Caleb Anderson and Abdoulalli Ibrahim Jirani split time in goal for the shutout. It was the Eagles second straight shutout. In all, the Eagles outshot the Lobos 15-6 and owned a 4-2 corner kicks advantage. Clingerman led the Eagles with four shots.

  • Eagles Notch Shutout Against Belhaven

    Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles scored a goal in each half rebounding from recent tough road losses to upend non-conference opponent Belhaven University 2-0 on Wednesday. Jorensky Augustin was in the right place at the right time as he deflected a ball the goalkeeper attempted to kick down the field enabling the ball to roll in for a goal. That goal came in the 31st minute. Both teams created multiple scoring opportunities in the match as the Eagles recorded 12 shots and the Blazers had 14. The Eagles pushed their advantage to 2-0 when Vicente Urdaneta Navarro ripped a shot for a goal in the 72nd minute. Eagle goalkeeper Abdoulalli Ibrahim Jirani had a clean sheet as he kept the Blazers from scoring and notched five saves.
  • Eagles Fall To Undefeated Bulldogs

    Richardson, Texas-The undefeated Texas Lutheran Bulldogs scored twice in the first half and then added another goal in the second half to upend the Eagles 3-0 Sunday in Texas. The Eagles took six shots in the first half, but couldn’t find the back of the net. Texas Lutheran scored in the 20th and 31st minute in the first half and added the final goal in the 71st minute. Overall, the Eagles had nine shots, while Texas Lutheran had 20.
  • Colorado College Hands Eagles 2-1 Setback
    September 15, 2023
    Richardson, Texas-Colorado College scored the game-winning goal in the 76th minute to pull out a 2-1 win over the Eagles Friday. The match was scoreless at halftime, but Eagle goalkeeper Abdoulalli Ibrahim Jirani was forced to make five saves. Colorado College would score first, which came in the 51st minute. The Eagles scored on an own goal in the 72nd minute to even the game 1-1. Colorado College then netted the game-winner in the 76th minute and held off the Eagles the rest of the way to secure the game. 
  • Eagles Suffer Loss Against Dallas
    September 10, 2023
    Irving, Texas-University of Dallas scored an early goal and then scored again before halftime to push past the Eagles 2-0 Sunday in Texas. The Eagles put pressure on the Crusaders with four shots on goal, each of which forced goalkeeper Caden Esquivel into a save situation. Both teams recorded seven shots. The Eagles held a 6-4 corner kicks advantage. The Crusaders played a man down after a red card in the 77th minute, and the Eagles took advantage notching a shot on goal from Erick Garcia. However, Esquivel recorded a save. Garcia totaled three shots in the match.
  • Eagles Fall On The Road Against Austin College

    Sherman, Texas-Austin College netted a goal in the seventh minute and then held off the Eagles to take a 1-0 win on Friday night in Sherman, Texas. The Eagles dominated shots taken holding a 18-8 advantage. The Eagles looked to even the game just before halftime, but couldn’t convert on a penalty kick. The Eagles forced Austin College goalkeeper Everardo Garza into seven saves. Bailey Sawyer had four shots for the Eagles.
  • Construction to Begin on New Athletic Complex

    Clarksville, Ark.-University of the Ozarks will begin construction in October on a new $10.75 million athletic complex that will include new fields for baseball, softball and soccer, University officials announced this week.
  • Rasto Rimbo Nets Game-Winner In 2-1 Win Over Lyon College

    Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles took advantage of a penalty kick opportunity and then got a game-winning goal from Rasto Rimbo in the 72nd minute to upend in-state rival Lyon College 2-1 on Tuesday night. In the 33rd minute, Lyon College was called for a handball in the box allowing the Eagles to take a penalty kick. Jorensky Augustin calmly buried the shot to put the Eagles in front 1-0. The lead only lasted five minutes as Lyon College scored on a fluke through ball in the 38th minute. The Eagles’ depth was simply too much for the Scots as the game-winner came on a chip shot from Rimbo. The goal was set up perfectly on a nice pass from Brock Bernard. The Eagles owned a 11-8 shots advantage in the match. Augustin had three shots to lead the Eagles.

    Clarksville, Ark.- University of the Ozarks senior forward Kyle Seymour was named the American Southwest Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, it was announced by the conference office Tuesday, September 5.         
  • Eagles Open Season With 8-0 Win

    Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles opened the 2023 season posting an impressive 8-0 win against Centenary College Friday. Rasto Rimbo set the tone with a goal in the 2nd minute and then the Eagles followed with two more goals over the next 16 minutes by Bailey Sawyer and Erick Garcia. Kyle Seymour found the back of the net in the 22nd minute and Armani Obasi scored in his collegiate debut in the 42nd minute. The Eagles’ attack against Centenary was relentless as the score at halftime was 5-0. The Eagles’ offense overwhelmed the Gents and the visitors never recovered. The Eagles scored early in the second half behind a Jorensky Augustin goal. Garcia followed in the 50th minute and Chris Rodriguez added the final goal in the 69th minute. The Eagles pitched a shutout to open the season and limited Centenary to very few effective shots on the net.

  • France Day Nine - Travel, Paris Saint – Germain, Parc des Princes Stadium & Bus Tour of Paris

    Today we traveled from Lyon to Paris. Following lunch, we took the metro to Parc des Princes Stadium, the home to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). It was a self-guided tour, but it was still a unique place. Getting to see the field was amazing. The stadium was huge and just breathtaking.

    Today the men played a game against La Duchére Academy club. The result was a 2-1 loss, but Senior Kyle Seymour answered for the Eagles.  
  • France Day Five - Exploring Like A Local

    Today was adventure day - we went to the open market and saw local pastries on one side of the river and a craft market on the other side of the river. We were able to see local artwork and handmade jewelry.

    Today started off with heading to Urban Soccer in Saint-Priest training with coaches from PSG Academy.
