Swim Teams Host Hendrix College And Austin College

Clarksville, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks women's and men's swim teams hosted its second home double dual of the season Friday night with visitors from Hendrix College and Austin College.

The Eagles dropped both competitions.

In the men's 200-yard medley relay, Jacob Toland, Austin Waters, Kim Gyeongju and Mike Walkine posted a time of 1:46.03 to place third. Toland placed third in the 200-yard free with a time of 1:54.13. Walkine swam a 23.81 in the 50-yard free to place fourth. Waters posted a time of 5:09.15 in the 400-yard IM to play sixth.  Kim Gyeongju finished fourth in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 59.53. Dylan Gehrels placed fifth in the 100-yard free with a time of 57.21. Toland had a second place finish in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 58.82. Waters finished third in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:07.43.

Kaitlyn Henrietta swam a 29.08 in the 50-yard free to place sixth. Henrietta placed fourth in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:13.24. Henrietta, Selena Haunty, Brenda Sandoval and Fernanda Hernandez-Sanchez placed third in the 200-yard free relay with a time of 2:19.92.

The Eagles will compete at the Hendrix College Invitational December 1-2.
