Clarksville, Ark.-University of the Ozarks junior swimmer Jacob Toland was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Swimmer of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday (February 6).

Toland, a native of North Little Rock, Ark., had an outstanding day Saturday against NCAA II Henderson State University winning three individual races. Toland posted wins in the 100-yard freestyle (52.69), 200-yard freestyle (1:55.09) and 500-yard freestyle (5:17.29). In just one season at Ozarks, Toland already owns a number of program records.

Ozarks will compete in the SCAC Championships February 14-17 in The Colony, Texas.
