Henderson State Tops Men's Swim And Dive Team

Clarksville, Ark.- The men's swim and dive team traveled to Arkadelphia January 20 to take on Henderson State University.

The Eagles were defeated 214-22.

The Eagles placed third in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:46.45. In the 1000 free, Wiley Grantham placed fifth with a time of 11:32.94. In the 200 free, Isaiah Dial placed fifth with a time of 2:03.04 and Nicolas White placed sixth with a time of 2:12.12. In the 50 free, Nicolai Van Zyl placed fifth with a time of 23.54 and Tyler Young placed sixth with a time of 27.69. In the 200 IM, Ethan Spillers placed fourth with a time of 2:07.77 and Tyler Hamrick placed sixth with a time of 2:15.54. In the one-meter diving competition, Michael Vargas placed third with a score of 144.95. In the 100 fly, Dial placed fourth with a time of 1:01.34. In the 100 free, Van Zyl placed fifth with a time of 51.34. In the 100 back, Hamrick placed fourth with a time of 59.98, Young placed sixth with a time of 1:11.37 and White placed seventh with a time of 1:13.15. In the 500 free, Granttham placed fifth with a time of 5:41.95. In the three-meter diving competition, Vargas placed third with a score of 115.40. In the 100 breaststroke, Spillers was fifth with a time of 1:05.27. In the 200 free relay, the Eagles placed third with a time of 1:54.25.
