Men's Swim Team Finishes Day Two At DSU Invite

Cleveland, Miss. - The men's swim team completed day two of the Delta State University Thanksgiving Invite Saturday in Cleveland, Mississippi.

The morning session included the prelims while the evening session featured the finals. 

In the 100 fly prelims, Isaiah Dial swam a 58.53 for 14th place. Nathan Jennings swam a 1:00.05 for 16th place and Tyler Hamrick posted a 1:00.13 for 17th place. In the 400 IM prelims, Ethan Spillers placed second with a time of 4:29.89. In the 200 free prelims, Dial went 1:58.31 for 19th place. Wiley Grantham finished 20th with a time of 1:58.36 and Jennings was 22nd with a time of 1:59.24. In the 100 breaststroke prelims, Young was 16th with a time of 1:15.38. In the 100 back prelims, Hamrick was tenth with a time of 1:00.99. Grantham was 13th with a time of 1:03.59 and Young was 17th with a time of 1:11.75. In the 100 fly of the finals, Dial was 14th with a time of 57.62. Jennings was 16th with a time of 59.63 and Hamrick was 17th with a time of 59.99. In the finals of the 400 IM, Spillers was second with a time of 4:24.48. In the 200 free of the finals, Dial swam a 1:56.35 for 19th place. Jennings was 21st with a time of 1:57.13 and Grantham was 22nd with a time of 1:58.07. In the finals of the 100 back, Hamrick was 11th with a time of 1:01.97. Grantham was 14th with a time of 1:04.22 and Young was 17th with a time of 1:06.87. The Eagles placed fifth in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:49.31.

The Eagles will wrap up the Delta State Thanksgiving Invite Sunday.
