Cleveland, Miss. - The men's swim team finished fifth at the three-day Delta State University Thanksgiving Invite in Cleveland, Mississippi.
On Sunday, the morning session included the prelims while the evening session featured the finals.
In the 200 back of the prelims, Ethan Spillers placed tenth with a time of 2:10.63 and Tyler Hamrick placed 11th with a time of 2:17.17. In the prelims of the 100 free, Tyler Young was 19th with a time of 1:01.57. In the prelims of the 200 fly, Spillers placed seventh with a time of 2:07.03 and Isaiah Dial placed eighth with a time of 2:07.61. In the prelims of the 1650 free, Wiley Grantham was ninth with a time of 17:40.36 and Nathan Jennings was 11th with a time of 18:23.20. In the finals of the 200 back, Hamrick finished tenth with a time of 2:12.02. In the finals of the 100 free, Young was 19th with a time of 1:00.26. In the finals of the 200 fly, Spillers placed sixth with a time of 2:03.97 and Dial placed seventh with a time of 2:09.83.
The Eagles will travel to Conway for the Hendrix College Sprints November 30.
