Longview, Texas-The Eagles posted a key 6-3 victory over LeTourneau University in American Southwest Conference men's tennis action late Friday afternoon.
Ozarks (2-1, 2-1 ASC) won each of its doubles matches to avenge a tough loss against the YellowJackets last season. Bishop Bass won at No. 2 singles 6-3, 6-2 and Corey Dillard won his No. 3 singles match 6-1, 6-3. Ozarks capped the day with another win, this time coming from No. 6 singles. Michael Skimbo won that match 7-5, 6-1.
LeTourneau falls to 6-2 overall and 3-1 in the ASC.
Ozarks will host Louisiana College Monday at noon.
