Clarksville, Ark.-NCAA Division II UA-Fort Smith slipped past the Eagles 6-3 in a non-conference match Tuesday afternoon. 
    
UA-Fort Smith (4-7) took court two and three in doubles action. Todd Turner and Bishop Bass picked up a 8-5 win at No. 1 doubles. It was the eighth win for the No. 15-ranked duo. Turner and Bass then each took No. 1 and No. 2 singles. Turner defeated Chris Ramirez 4-6, 7-6, 1-0, while Bass beat Jesse Green 5-7, 6-3, 1-0. Bass improves to 8-1 in singles.
    
The Eagles are now 7-3 overall for the spring season.
