Richardson, Texas-The Eagles put up a tough fight against the UT-Dallas men's tennis team only to have the Comets take a 8-1 win in American Southwest Conference play Friday.
Ozarks (9-4, 6-3 ASC) dropped its three doubles matches 9-7, 9-7 and 9-8. The close matches continued in singles play as the Comets posted narrow victories at No. 1 and No. 2 singles. Michael Skimbo won 6-3, 6-3 at No. 6 singles.
