Nationally-Ranked NCAA II Ouachita Baptist Hands Eagles Season-Opening Loss

Arkadelphia, Ark.-Highly-regarded Ouachita Baptist University gave the men's tennis team a 7-0 setback Saturday in its spring opener in Arkadelphia.
    
Ouachita Baptist, ranked No. 35 in NCAA II by the ITA, put five players in the ITA Central Region Top-20 Singles Rankings entering the spring season. However, Ozarks (0-1) wasn't fazed as Todd Turner gave one of the NCAA II's top players all he wanted. Ouachita's Marko Boskovic won his first set 6-0, but lost the second set 1-6 at No. 1 singles. Boskovic won the tiebreaker against Turner, winning 10-8. No. 2 singles player Bishop Bass lost 6-2, 6-3. The Tigers (2-0) would win the remaining singles matches. They also won all three of their doubles matches to gain one point.
    
Ozarks will travel to Conway to face John Brown University and Hendrix College February 14.
