Men’s Tennis Team Opens Fall Season With 8-1 Loss Against Hendrix College

Clarksville, Ark.-The men's tennis team opened the 2015 fall season against Hendrix College Tuesday with a 8-1 loss.

Ozarks will now travel to San Antonio for the ITA Regional September 25-27. Against Hendrix (1-0), Ozarks won at No. 1 doubles. Dillon Murray and Jacob Organ took a 8-6 win over Ian McVinney and Kristian Lenser.

"It was a solid, competitive match and just what we needed to prepare ourselves for the ITA Regional this weekend," said head coach Cullen Dees. "Hendrix is a good team, and I look forward to playing them again in the spring. For the most part, I was happy with the way our guys acted out on court. We were intense and competed well."

#5 Singles: Luke Lefler defeated Daniel Chue 6-0, 6-0
