Eagles Impressive In Senior Day Win

Clarksville, Ark.-The men's tennis team dominated Louisiana College on "Senior Day" earning a 9-0 victory to open American Southwest Conference play Friday.

Ozarks (2-9, 1-0 ASC) made a clean sweep in doubles play with 8-0 wins at No. 2 and No. 3. The No. 1 tandem of Dillon Murray and Jacob Organ posted a 8-2 victory. Following doubles play, Ozarks was just as impressive netting 6-0, 6-0 victories at No. 1, No. 2, No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 singles.

Prior to the match seniors Elly Eibes, Aaron England, Bryant Ford, Travis Leach and Alix Tiegs were honored for their contributions to the tennis program.

"We are excited to start conference play with a win," said head coach Cullen Dees. "We played solid doubles and smart singles, exactly the way we needed to. Now, we will prepare for John Brown tomorrow."

Ozarks will host John Brown University April 2.
