Clarksville, Ark.-The men's tennis posted an impressive 9-0 shutout win over conference opponent Louisiana College Saturday morning. Three seniors (Pierre De Forton, Alex Torbey, and Spencer Turner) were honored prior to the beginning of the match as part of Senior Day.
All three doubles pairings convincingly succeeded to give the Eagles a 3-0 start. The number one pair of Melle van Duijn and Spencer Turner won 8-0 while the number three pairing of Alex Torbey and Pierre De Forton won 8-1. All six singles players would continue to prevail by not dropping a game in either of their sets.
The Eagles will face conference opponents East Texas Baptist University and Belhaven University on the road April 20 and 21 to end the regular season.
