Men's Tennis Team Drops Match In New Facility

Clarksville, Ark.-The men's tennis team had a tough day on the opening of the new Alexander-Boreham Tennis Center Saturday against John Brown University.

John Brown spoiled the day by taking a 8-1 victory over the Eagles. Melle Van Duijn posted a 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 1 singles for the Eagles. The Eagles lost a pair of hard fought matches in doubles play.

The new Alexander-Boreham Tennis Center has eight courts with LED lighting and features PlaySight video technology allowing fans to watch the matches online and players to evaluate their play. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held Saturday, October 27.

The Eagles will host Hendrix College October 5.
