Men's Tennis Team Falls In Conference Opener

Clarksville, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks men's tennis team opened the 2020 American Southwest Conference spring slate with a 7-2 setback against Texas-Dallas Friday afternoon.

Texas-Dallas escaped No. 1 doubles with a 8-7 win. The Eagles won No. 2 doubles 8-6 behind the efforts of TJ Saniseng and Cole Lankford. Texas-Dallas won at No. 3 doubles 8-3.

Angelo Ito Tost kept his singles record perfect (7-0) with a 6-1, 6-4 win at the No. 1 position. Ito Tost would be the only singles win for the Eagles.

The Eagles will travel to Sherman, Texas, to take on Austin College March 6.
