Conway, Ark.-The men's tennis team posted its first win of the spring season with a 5-4 victory over John Brown University Saturday in Conway.
The Eagles dropped the other match, 9-0, against Dallas Baptist University.
Against John Brown, the Eagles won two of three doubles matches. Perry Guidry and Kao Lenkopane won 8-7 at the No. 2 spot. Joshua Wilde and Griffin Huckelbury won 8-7 at No. 3. Wilde won 6-2, 5-7, 13-11 at the No. 2 position. Kento Iwahara won 6-2, 6-0 at the No. 4 position. Nico Castells won 6-4, 6-2 at the No. 6 position.
The Eagles will host UA-Fort Smith February 18.
