Clarksville, Ark.-University of the Ozarks freshman Michael Harris was named the American Southwest Conference Men's Track Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.
   
It is the second ASC Track Athlete of the Week honor this season for Harris.

Harris, a native of Elkins, Ark., earned Athlete of the Week by posting a school record 1,500-meter time with a 4:09.29 at the University of Central Arkansas Spring Opener. He finished 11th in the race. His mark ranks second in the ASC and 32nd in the nation. He also ran a 2:04 split in the 4x800 meter relay.

Ozarks will compete in the Rhodes College Invitational March 16-17 in Memphis.
