Michael Harris Wins 5000-Meter Race At ASC Track Championship

Abilene, Texas-Freshman Michael Harris posted another impressive victory at the 2018 American Southwest Conference (ASC) Track and Field Championships in Abilene, Texas, on Saturday.

Harris won the individual title in the 5000-meter posting a time of 15:58.02. The Elkins, Ark., native was also honored as the co-winner of the 2018 ASC Men's Track Athlete High Point Award. He was also named All-Conference. Harris won the 3000-meter steeplechase Friday.
