COACH PROVENCE QUOTE
"
The Chile Pepper is always a great race. The atmosphere is unique and our teams enjoy competing here. We wanted to use this race to gain more race experience, both in preparation for and execution of the game plan. They did a great job of staying within themselves, which can be difficult to do at a race with the amount of energy it has. The 10K can be tough mentally, but I think our guys are getting better about winning the small mental battles. The men are gaining confidence at the right time of the season."

NEXT UP
The Eagles will host the University of the Ozarks Invitational September 7.
