THE BASICS
The Eagles posted a fifth-place finish, including beating NCAA I Oral Roberts University, at the 5K UCA Cross Country Challenge Saturday in Conway. Competing as the only NCAA III team, the Eagles were behind winner University of Central Arkansas and Little Rock, John Brown University and Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Nathaneal Rankin paced the Eagles with a ninth-place finish after running a 16:53.7. Michael Harris (17:00.1) and Jaeden Miller (18:05.7) came in 12th and 34th, respectively.
