Abilene, Texas- Nathan Rankin won his second American Southwest Conference Men's Cross Country Championship, topping 90 other runners Saturday on Abilene Christian University's Cross Country Course.

Rankin, who also won the title as a freshman, ran a 25:53.9 in the 8k race. A native of Plano, Texas, he earned All-Conference First Team for his performance. Ozarks finished third as a team, its third highest finish ever. The standout runner and wrestler was the first NCAA III runner for Ozarks to qualify for Nationals last season.

Rankin and his teammates will now compete in the NCAA III Regional November 16 in Memphis, Tennessee.
