THE BASICS
The men's cross country team opened the season at the Rhodes College Invitational Saturday in Memphis. Hazlitt Pena paced the Eagles with a top-50 finish. He was 43rd overall. He ran a 29:50.8. Cesar Rodriguez finished 58th with a time of 31:32.9 and Luis Garcia ran a 32:06.2 for 61st place.
