THE BASICS
The Eagles finished sixth overall at the 2023 American Southwest Conference Men's Cross Country Championships on Saturday in Abilene, Texas. Daniel Sanderson paced the Eagles with a time of 26:53.4 for 15th place. Sanderson was one spot away from earning All-Conference. Nathan Duncan, Jr. followed with a time of 27:53.1 for 31st place. Benjamin Stormes ran a 28:51.2 for 45th place. Omarion Shaw was 46th overall running a 28:52.8. Baltazar Garcia ran a 29:05.9 for 49th place. Duban Figueroa was next for the Eagles running a 30:25.2 for 62nd place and Zachary Wilson ran a 35:15.4 for 79th place. Sanderson and Duncan will also run in the NCAA III Regional November 11 in Waverly, Iowa.
