Junior Leigh Thompson was named to the ASC All-East Division softball team. She also earned a spot on the All-ASC team, which consists of players from the East and West division. Thompson, a third baseman from Harrison, Arkansas, led the conference in batting (.443), RBI (37) and doubles (16). She finished second in the conference in hits (43). Thompson, a transfer from North Arkansas College, was also voted ASC Newcomer of the Year. The Lady Eagles had four players who received honorable mention all-conference. Freshman catcher Kelly Bennett, freshman shortstop Regan Brown and freshman outfielder Shannon Rainbolt were named to the honorable mention list. Sophomore pitcher Amanda Luney also earned a spot on the honorable mention list.
