<#IMAGE:1#>The Lady Eagles (11-15, 3-9) fall into a fifth place tie with UT-Dallas in the American Southwest Conference East Division. The top three teams advance to the playoffs, with second-place UT-Tyler not eligible for post-season action until next season. Ozarks will travel to Longview, Texas, to face LeTourneau University on April 5 and April 6. East Texas Baptist University (20-8, 6-6) had a seven-run third inning en route to a 9-2 win in game one on Saturday. The score remained 2-2 for two innings before the Lady Tigers collected seven hits and took advantage of two Ozarks' errors in the top of the third. Ozarks answered with one run in the bottom half of the inning and added another in the sixth on a Chelsea Joslin solo home run, but the damage was already done as East Texas Baptist had built a 9-2 advantage. The Lady Eagles collected four hits in the contest. Stephany Henson (6-4) received the loss. She had two strikeouts and gave up only two earned runs. Ozarks jumped out to a 2-0 lead after two innings in game two on Saturday, but were unable to hold onto the lead as the Lady Tigers took a 6-3 win to complete a four-game sweep. Ozarks started out the first inning with three straight hits, with Brook Grice and Danielle Dirks each collecting an RBI in the inning. East Texas Baptist took back the lead in the top of the third behind a four-hit attack. Ozarks rallied back to tie the contest at 3-3 in the bottom of the fifth when Stacy Simpson singled in Jodie Clark. However, the Lady Tigers scored three runs in the top half of the seventh, and then held the Lady Eagles to one hit in the bottom half of the inning to seal the game. Simpson led Ozarks at the plate with a 2-for-3 performance. Andrea Mitchell (5-11) received the loss in seven innings of work.
