In game one, Casey Mays collected two of Ozarks' four hits in the contest. Unfortunately, no one was on base at the time of her singles. Texas-Tyler (16-2, 4-0 ASC) held a narrow 1-0 lead after three innings, but added five runs in the fourth.

Mays finished 2-for-2 to pace Ozarks (5-11, 0-4 ASC).

Tabitha Porter (1-5) took the loss in four and one-third innings.

In game two, the Lady Eagles took an early 1-0 lead in the first when Kelsey Stephens singled in Kelsey Mefford. The Patriots answered with a pair of runs in the bottom half of the inning. A five-run second inning increased their advantage to 7-1.

Ozarks collected five hits.

Kaci Foster (0-2) took the loss.

The Lady Eagles will host Rhodes College in their home-opener March 16 with a double-header beginning at 1:00 p.m.
