East Texas Baptist Softball Team Completes Sweep

In game one, the Lady Tigers (20-8, 11-3 ASC) generated just four hits, but got them when it counted the most. Leading 1-0 after four, East Texas Baptist scored twice in the fifth on two of its four hits. Ozarks (8-22, 3-17) was limited to three hits in the game.

Amber Rollins (7-12) took the loss.

In game two, East Texas Baptist allowed just four hits, while pounding out ten of its own. The Lady Eagles trailed just 1-0 after four and one-half innings, but the Lady Tigers put together a three-run bottom of the fourth to go ahead 4-0.

Tabitha Porter (1-9) took the loss.

Brittany Wagnon paced Ozarks at the plate with a 2-for-3 performance.

Ozarks will travel to Shreveport, Louisiana, to face Centenary College April 13-14.
