Senior outfielder Ali Mathis laced the game-winning hit with two outs and the bases loaded to send Ozarks (9-11, 2-6 ASC) to its second win over Louisiana College (11-4, 5-3 ASC) in as many days. Amber Rollins drew a walk to put Ozarks first runner on base in the eighth and Heather Roberts followed with a double to put a pair of runners in scoring position. With two outs, Miah Williams drew another walk to load the bases for Mathis. The left-handed Mathis, who is hitting .458, promptly delivered a clutch single to left centerfield for the Lady Eagles.

Ozarks nearly won the game the previous inning, but couldn't scratch across a run with the bases loaded. With one out, Louisiana College starter Leslie Eastman recorded back-to-back strikeouts to end the frame. The Lady Eagles stranded 13 runners in the contest. Tori Lemieux drove in the other run for Ozarks with a single in the fifth, which tied the game.
Mathis, Williams and Lemieux each finished 3-for-3 in the game.
Amber Rollins (7-3) received the win in an eight-hit complete game.
Ozarks dropped game two 10-2 in six innings after Louisiana College turned a 3-0 lead into a 7-0 advantage by scoring four runs in the fourth inning. Roberts roped a single through the left side of the infield to score one run in the bottom of the fourth.
Whitney Price (1-5) took the loss for Ozarks.
Arel Ferguson posted a 2-for-3 effort at the plate for the Lady Eagles.
Ozarks will travel to Clinton, Mississippi, to face Mississippi College in a four-game series March 22-23.
