Pineville, La.-The Louisiana College softball team swept a three-game series against the Lady Eagles after taking both games Saturday in American Southwest Conference play.

The Lady Wildcats (9-1, 9-0 ASC) picked up a 10-1 game one victory and then proceeded to earn a 11-0 shutout in the nightcap.

In game one, Louisiana College used a five-run fourth inning to put the game out of reach. Annie McDonald drove in Ozarks only run with an RBI single in the top of the fourth. Tabitha McClane took the loss.

In game two, the Lady Wildcats posted three runs in the first and second innings and then added four more in the third to hold a 10-0 lead. Ozarks was held to one hit. Krysten Shavers took the loss.

Ozarks falls to 1-11 overall and 0-9 in the ASC.

Ozarks will host Sul Ross State University March 8-9 in a three-game series.
