Abilene, Texas-Hardin-Simmons University completed a three-game weekend sweep over the Lady Eagles with a 16-0 run-rule victory in American Southwest Conference play Saturday.
    
Hardin-Simmons (10-8, 8-7 ASC) quickly established momentum with a nine run first inning. The Cowgirls then scored five more in the second frame to build a 14-0 advantage early on. A trio of Hardin-Simmons' pitchers allowed just one Ozarks' hit. The Lady Eagles fall to 2-16 overall and 1-14 in the ASC. 
    
Ozarks will travel to Hendrix College for a double-header March 18.
